Glimmer of Hope Foundation

Strong families today for a stronger community tomorrow.

We want to empower and stabilize immigrants and low income minority families by providing them with the tools they need to become self-sufficient members of the community.

Who we are

Glimmer of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization is a welcoming point of entry for newcomers from the Caribbean and South America and a multi-service center that offers a wide range of multilingual (English, Spanish, French and Creole) services to the immigrant and non immigrant population of Broward County. Our goal is to help families break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy so that they can move toward self sufficiency and economic advancement.

Statement on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Glimmer of Hope Foundation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion as our core values. We respect the equal dignity of each person with regard to race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation and sexual identification and abilities. We strive to build and leverage a diverse, inclusive workforce and workplace, starting with leadership and spreading across the organization. This includes Board, staff, program participants, volunteers and partners.
We work to achieve these goals both internally and by collaboration with the wider community.

WE NEED YOUR HELP – Please donate

Every kids deserve the same opportunity in life. Through our after school, enrichment, tutoring, summer camp and lunch programs, we give less fortunate kids a fair chance at succeeding. We want to enable low income families to give their children what other more fortunate families give theirs: joy and happiness. We hear too often from participants in our program that the meal they ate at our table is their only daily meal. Imagine if we could help more mothers like Sonya G. with their kids during the summer, so she can go to work and provide for her family knowing that her kids are in a safe and fun environment.

It is easy to ignore these realities of life. We humbly ask you to help us make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. Your support helps build a stronger community. Thank you.
